Chapter 53 - Sirena Bloodmoon
53 Chapter 53 - Sirena Bloodmoon
"Ehh... Who are you? Where am I? I can't remember anything. All I recall is a handsome man carrying me in his arms. He had these stunning crimson eyes, long hair, and he seemed so worried about me, " The girl blinked in confusion, her memory a jumble of fragments as she explained, her voice filled with bewilderment.
Seraphina vigorously shook her head from side to side, her disapproval evident in her quick and emphatic motions. She crossed her arms in an 'X' shape to emphasize her point, adding a playful pout to her expression, clearly insistent that Bong only cared about her.
Eclipse cleared his throat, trying to redirect their attention to a more important matter.
"Sera, I'll explain what happened while Master and I were in the Dungeon and you were away in your own mission," He began.
As Eclipse began recounting the past events, Master and I ventured into the Dungeon. This was the very first Dungeon where Master saved me. He was astonished, wondering why this Dungeon hadn't been cleared for quite some time. It turns out that Baron Valerian was behind it all. He had sent an assassin into the Dungeon, and whenever someone reached the final boss, these assassins would eliminate them. So, ultimately, it was Baron Valerian's plot.
When we reached the final boss room, we made an unexpected discovery. The final boss was not a menacing foe but a victim, chained under a curse. It was a truly unexpected turn of events. This is when Master decided to gather souls for his new bow weapon. With each soul he collected, the power of the bow grew. It was a mesmerizing sight. Eventually, with each single shot, he shattered the cursed chains, setting the boss free.
"So, Sera, that's the story of how Master and I encountered Baron Valerian's plot, broke a curse, and freed this lady who was the boss of the Dungeon," Eclipse summarized the entire journey he had shared with his Master.
While Eclipse was lost in thought, recounting their adventure with Bong, he suddenly realized that he had forgotten something crucial.
"Oh, how could I forget this? Master also gave me this gift, the Soulshifter Dagger. He forged it himself, filled with happiness and power!" Eclipse exclaimed, his face lighting up with joy as he flexed proudly in front of Seraphina.
"But now he's not talking to me," Eclipse said, trying to shake the Soulshifter dagger in his hand. It had fallen silent after Ashren had re-forged it.
"How... How... you got this? You sent me away because of this? You traitor!" Seraphina's voice quivered with mock indignation as she pointed an accusing finger at Eclipse.
Eclipse, still bubbling with excitement over his new Soulshifter Dagger, engaged in a mock battle with Seraphina. Their movements were exaggerated and theatrical, with Eclipse mimicking his victorious stance after receiving the dagger.

Amid their playful fight, the boss, who had just awakened, joined in the absurdity. She watched the two with a perplexed expression, wondering what madness had overtaken the room. Bong, oblivious to the ruckus, continued to sleep soundly in his chair, undisturbed by the antics of his companions. "That's enough, you two. Stop it now. My head still hurts, and you're making it worse. I need some quiet time to recall my memories," Boss intervened as she watched the escalating fight between Seraphina and Eclipse.
After listening to her, Seraphina nodded vigorously, raising and lowering her hand while giving a big thumbs-up with a wink and sticking out her tongue playfully. Then, she grabbed Eclipse by his collar and tossed him out of the room.
"You... I'll see you outside." Seraphina's eyes narrowed, and she pointed toward the door.
"Why are you doing this to me?" Eclipse's face showed genuine confusion.
"You traitor! You sent me alone with those pathetic humans to build connections, while you were off enjoying adventures with Master!" Seraphina fumed with her hands on her hips.
After Seraphina left the room, leaving the boss alone to recover her memories, both she and Eclipse seemed to forget about Bong, who was still sleeping in the chair, oblivious to the ongoing commotion.
"Gosh, how ignorant they are, really? They forgot this little pet of theirs here. I think I'll just put him in my bed; he seems uncomfortable sleeping in that chair." Boss chuckled to herself as she decided to make Bong more comfortable.
As she lifted Bong in his bat form from the chair, she felt a strange sensation, like an electric shock coursing through her body. It was a result of her becoming one of Bong's servants after he bit her.
Gradually, memories began to flood her mind, recounting everything that had happened in the Dungeon and how Bong had saved her. Slowly but surely, she realized her dark past - how she had been imprisoned in the Dungeon and how someone had cursed her with a dreadful chain, leaving her unable to live or die.
As memories rushed through her mind, recalling her long imprisonment, she tightly grasped onto Bong in his bat form, tears streaming down her face as the pain of those memories overwhelmed her. Her grip on Bong was so tight that it startled him awake.
"Agghh... Who? Who dares to fight with me? I'll kick your lazy, bumpy... what?" Bong, still somewhat groggy from his nap, looked around in confusion.
"Oh, Master, I'm sorry for waking you up with my crying," She apologized.
"It was you? Well, then, please let me go. I don't need to get all wet with your tears. I might catch a bat flu, you know about bat flu right... cough, cough," Bong replied, trying to maintain a bit of humor despite the situation.
She released her tight grip on Bong and wiped away his tears.
"I need to fly, my wings are all messed up, you know. And look at my hair, it's a disaster," Bong exclaimed as he began to shake his body to dry his hair and straighten out his disheveled wings.
"Now that I'm all sorted out, it's your turn. Who are you? And I'm sure you must have some sensational background story to share, so spill the beans," Bong said, wiggling his winged fingers like he was ready for a dramatic revelation.
"Yes, Master, my name is Sirena, Sirena Bloodmoon," She introduced herself with a hint of mystery in her voice. n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om
