The lance and the divine weapon collided with intensity, causing a ear-splitting crack to ring out as a powerful shockwave spread across the vicinity.

Malrik groaned a bit but before he could react, the sentinel had sent out another blow and they began to clash in a flurry of strikes.

Each blow sent shockwaves across the battlefield, forcing everyone to take cover.

With every blow, Malrik was taking damage but the silver sentinel remained unharmed.

This was mostly due to their difference in levels.

"Finally, someone who can properly hurt him," Lilo said, watching the clash in awe.

"Don't get comfortable," August warned. "Even he can't win outright. That weapon's too strong."

"Exactly," the Sentinel replied. "I will create an opening. The rest of you must be ready to strike."

The Sentinel and his dragon charged at Malrik again, coordinating their attacks to force the sorcerer to focus entirely on them. With a mighty roar, the Sentinel's dragon unleashed another torrent of flames, temporarily blinding Malrik.

"Now!" the Sentinel shouted, using his lance to disarm Malrik. The lesser divine weapon flew from the sorcerer's grip, embedding itself in the ground several meters away.

"Take him down!" August commanded while activating Phantom Blitz. He teleported rapidly while brandishing his daggers as he struck Malrik's exposed side. Each hit chipped away at the sorcerer's HP.

Lilo fired a series of explosive arrows, directly aiming for weak spots. "This is for stressing us the fuck out!"

Ezran summoned Arcane Tempest once again, tearing into Malrik with renewed fury.

Boris activated Raging Cyclone, slamming into Malrik with relentless force. "This is for everyone you've killed!"

Malrik stumbled upon receiving multiple hits. "No… this cannot be! I am Malrik! I wield the power of the divine!"

He stretched his hand towards the divine weapon causing it to float in the air like it could feel his pull.

The weapon streaked towards him but before he could grab it, the Silver Sentinel's dragon bolted through the air causing the blade to fall into the Silver Sentinel's grasp.

The blade struggled to free itself from his grasp but the Silver Sentinel held it tightly with all his might while commanding his dragon to keep flying away from the scene.

Malrik turned around and aimed his staff to the sky but before he could unleash a spell,

August dashed to his back and activated Nightfang Execution.

In a blur, he thrust the blade into Malrik's back.

The blade pierced so deep that it shot out from his chest.

Malrik fell to his knees as his staff clattered to the ground. His glowing eyes dimmed as he let out a desperate scream. "You… cannot… stop… the divine…"

"Not just me," August glanced up at the Sentinel, who nodded approvingly from atop his dragon. "It was all of us."

The battle was finally over.

The battlefield soon fell eerily silent as players and NPCs alike recovered from the chaos.

The faint glow of the shattered monolith and the ashes of Malrik slowly dissipated into the night. Suddenly, a chime echoed across the server—a system notification that reached every player in the game.
