I Am A Prodigy

Chapter 730 - Entering Mid Level of The Innate Stage

Chapter 730: Entering Mid Level of The Innate Stage

Ye Lingchen had a showdown with various foreign singers online. The local and international music industry and their crowd had their eyes set on the following week, awaiting eagerly.

Meanwhile, Ye Lingchen was very calm and did take this seriously. There were a lot of things he needed to do. The only reason he did that was to harvest another round of popularity points.

One week later...

Miracle Island’s spiritual energy density increased further. Although it was incomparable to the Martial Arts Pavilion, it was already beyond that of the new district’s perimeter.

During that time, Ye Lingchen placed his low-grade spirit stones around the island and set up a Spirit Gathering Formation. Setting up a formation using spirit stones was much better than other materials. Although it could not cover the entire island due to its size, it was already an impressive feat.

Ye Lingchen was confident of acquiring sufficient spirit stones, even the high-grade ones, in the future to cover the entire island.

As for the mid-grade spirit stones in his possession, they were placed around the herb field to provide it with large amounts of spiritual energy. Those were mid-grade spirit stones used specifically on the herb field. From that, one could see how much importance Ye Lingchen placed on his herb field.

Of course, the main reason was the 16 stalks of spiritual herbs in the field. Those herbs were planted personally by Ye Lingchen and modified by him using his Wood Spiritual Constitution, greatly raising their survivability. If he could cultivate them in Miracle Island, that would be a big step for humanity.

Right then, in the hills, a spiritual storm was brewing.

Ye Lingchen sat cross legged on a rock, surrounded by high-grade spirit stones arranged in a small scale formation, providing him with a constant supply of spiritual energy.

“This is it. I must get it done in one go this time!”

Ye Lingchen pursed his lips together and had a determined look on his face. The spiritual energy surrounding him immediately turned violent.

Crack!

A crisp sound of cracking bones could be heard coming from within him, as though suffering from a great pressure. Following that was a bone chilling grinding sound.

Within the past week, Ye Lingchen used high-grade spirit stones to assist with his cultivation. The rate of improvement was incredible. The effectiveness was over a hundred fold compared to before and the condensation of his spiritual energy was much faster.

The acquired Qi force that once filled his body was only left with 1% of its original volume. However, that 1% had a quality that went far beyond the full 100%, almost comparable to innate spiritual energy.

Once he completed this final step, he would be considered to have entered mid level Innate Stage, the completion of spiritual energy transformation. However, that last 1% was just too difficult. The slightest error would set him back greatly. It was like an impassable barrier blocking his path!

‘Compress!’ Ye Lingchen bellowed in his mind. That last drop of acquired Qi force trembled and started to bubble like boiling water.

Ye Lingchen’s body stiffened up suddenly.

Hot!

It was a scorching sensation he had never experienced before!

He felt as though he was thrown into an oven, roasted by the flames.

He had practiced Eight Extremities Brute Training and still found it difficult to endure.

Fortunately, that feeling did not last long. After 15 minutes, it went away just like that and was replaced by an extremely comfortable feeling.

His every action felt refreshing.

Ye Lingchen opened his eyes, filled with joy.

It was a success!

There was only a tiny shred of Qi within his body that was much smaller than the 1% from before. However, that tiny shred of Qi represented limitless possibility. It was innate spiritual energy!

Ye Lingchen raised his palm and felt a feeling of touching the air. The air around his body felt like water and he could clearly sense the presence of spiritual energy.

His eyes fell on a sapling not far away and gently curved his palm.

Bang!

A layer of bark from the sapling was peeled.

‘Incredible! Is this the difference between low level and mid level of the Innate Stage? The control over spiritual energy is on a whole new level.’

Next, he would have to build on that shred of innate spiritual energy and fill his body with it in order to reach the peak level of Innate Stage.

Ye Lingchen smiled painfully as he shook his head. He finally understood why the Warrior’s Department was against the idea of an institute for martial artists. The resource requirement was just unimaginable. The number of high-grade spirit stones needed to fill Ye Lingchen’s body with innate spiritual energy was a scary amount that he would not dare imagine.

Peak level Innate Stage was just too difficult. There were probably very few even throughout the entire China. If that was the case, then how difficult would it be for someone to reach the Trinity Convergence Stage that was beyond the Innate Stage?

...

Those on the island had also gotten used to Ye Lingchen’s schedule. Right as he walked out from the forest, Dong Miaomiao was already looking for him with a glass bottle in her hands.

“Chairman Ye, the medicine for rabies is done. Please have a look.”

Ye Lingchen received the bottle and examined it closely.

That shape of the medicine was something Ye Lingchen made them adhere to, looking exactly like the elixirs in fantasy novels.

His intention was not to be trollish, but instead due to consideration for the existence of the Void Realm. It might be a good idea to return to traditional culture in certain aspects since the medicine he planned to produce in the future would be elixirs specially designed for Warriors.

Ye Lingchen nodded. “Well done. It’s fine to market this now. The next step would be to mass produce it. We’ll start with a hundred thousand pills and make the announcement to start trading.”

“Sure thing.” Dong Miaomiao nodded before adding, “What should we name this pill?”

‘Name?’

Ye Lingchen rubbed his chin. “Let’s call it...the Canine Bane Pill.”

Dong Miaomiao rolled her eyes as she could not help but feel regretful. She should have expected Chairman Ye’s talent for names to be slightly nonsensical.

“There’s more,” Ye Lingchen called out to Dong Miaomiao. “Our pills need to be separated by categories in the future. The Canine Bane Pill is considered level-1 elixir. Apart from that, go have someone check out the retail shops in each major city to open up Elixir Pavilion as our sales front.”

“Elixir Pavilion?” Dong Miaomiao was taken aback.

“That’s right. We’re calling it Elixir Pavilion!” Ye Lingchen nodded. “This is different from pharmacies.”

Dong Miaomiao thought deeply. “How should we price this?”

“A single pill’s production cost is less than a hundred. Add to it the store cost, it should be about three hundred. We’ll sell it for five hundred RMB.” Ye Lingchen had decided on the price long ago.

500RMB to cure rabies. That price was just too cheap. He believed that 99% of the people would be able to afford it.

It should be known that the rabies vaccine required three shots, costing over 1,000RMB. Moreover, it had to be administered within 24 hours and was not 100% effective. Worst of all, the vaccine was useless after if it was full blown rabies.

When compared with the Canine Bane Pill, it was complete trash.

The reason it could be that cheap was due to the lack of middlemen!
