Chapter 439 Deadly Frog

"The King took her to the coliseum to deal with her in a unique way due to the information he had on her. I'm not sure why he didn't do the same for you all, but he stated it was important to have her one on one without distractions."

Nana, her voice laced with worry, asked, "Can you lead us to where they are?"n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

Rima nodded. "Of course, it won't take long to get there."

Nana glanced over at the man Sanguina had injured. Medical staff were performing surgery on him right there on the floor. She heard a loud gasp from him as they worked, and it tugged at her heart. She turned back to Rima and the others, her resolve hardening.

"Let's go," Nana said, her voice steady despite the chaos around them.

-{Scene Break}-

The dust still heavy, blood trickled from around Elithira's wounds as she thought, "Even in the body of a frog, I am still the strongest Daughter of the Demon King!" Her eyes shone intently with determination.

"I need to take down the guy with the hammer, but first I need to handle this damned asshole they somehow got under their control," Elithira thought, frustration boiling inside her.

As the dust still hung around her, she pushed her frog legs against the cracked surface, jetting out with smoke trailing behind her. She clashed with the Dragoon's sword, landing on the blade, her fierce eyes glaring as she spat toward his face. The Dragoon instinctively swung to shake her off, sending her flying high into the sky.

She steadied herself mid-air, fully upside down, and took a deep breath.

"I wonder if I can still use my moves in this form? Well, worth a try even without my blade."

Focusing an immense amount of energy in her arm, she shouted, "First form! Black Dash!"

A black array of energy engulfed her frog arm as she sped back down to the ground, her arm clashing with the Dragoon's blade as he swung upward. The impact was powerful, creating a shockwave that sent cracks through the ground and snapping his blades tip.

Elithira felt the energy coursing through her, a surge of power she hadn't expected in this form. The Dragoon stumbled back, his red eyes flashing with controlled rage. She took advantage of his momentary distraction, pushing forward with another strike.

As she prepared to push forward, Elithira's vision blurred. She felt blood vessels pop, distorting her eyesight and giving the Dragoon enough time to collect himself. He swung at Elithira again, and the judge, Robrick, screamed out, "She's just a damn frog! Put her down already!"

Meanwhile, the King remained standing with his hands behind his back, showing no emotion, watching the scene intently.

Elithira dodged the sword slice, bouncing off its chipped blade. In the midst of her evasive maneuvers, she managed to grip the tip of a broken piece of metal from the Dragoon's blade when it had struck the ground earlier. She had noticed the fragment lying amidst the debris and snatched it up quickly, knowing it could be a crucial tool in her fight.

The Dragoon swung around, delivering a crushing backhanded fist strike to Elithira's frog stomach, sending her flying 40-50 feet away. Blood splatters left marks along the stoned and sanded ground.

Gritting her teeth, Elithira gripped the tip of the metal she had stolen, her mind racing with plans to use it effectively. She could still feel the energy coursing through her, albeit with a throbbing pain that seemed to pulse with each heartbeat.

"I could probably kill this body to destroy the Dragoon... but that would be a bad idea," Elithira thought, her frustration mounting as she narrowly avoided another strike. The Dragoon's reaction speed had increased dramatically, forcing her to focus solely on dodging. "He's gotten faster... or I'm just getting slower," she thought, her small frog legs struggling to keep up.

As she darted to the side, she slipped on the blood-stained ground, her tiny form losing traction. A brutal kick from the Dragoon landed squarely in her stomach, sending her flying into the rubble beneath Robrick. The impact left her breathless, pain radiating through her small body as she tried to gather herself.

The Dragoon took a low stance, his feet widening and his blade steady in front of him. His voice, cold and final, echoed through the arena, "Time to end."

A red ball of energy began to glow at the tip of his blade, growing rapidly to the size of a basketball. It erupted towards Elithira, the intense heat distorting the air around it. Struggling to recover from the previous impact, she barely managed to push herself up, her vision blurring as the lethal energy approached.

Elithira under the stress began to smile, "This is perfect."

Seconds later, the attack crashed into where she had been. As the energy dissipated and the smoke spread away, a smooth half-circle was left behind with no sign of Elithira in her frog form.

The Dragoon's face twisted in confusion. "Did I kill it?"

King Griswald, watching intently, stated, "No, she escaped and is now heading to her main target."

Robrick looked puzzled. "What? Main target?"

Behind Robrick, the sound of rapid taps echoed as Elithira, still in her frog form, soared up and landed on his platform. "Second form! Wild Black Dance!"

"Forms?! What does that even mean?" Robrick shouted as she sped towards him. She struck his chest with the blade, blood dripping from her lips as she struggled to maintain her body's structure without falling apart.

Killing me won't lift this curse!

The force of the strike pushed Robrick back, and Elithira pressed the blade deeper into his chest. A surge of energy flowed through the blade, connecting her soul energy to his. Her body began to glow, and she felt a strange pull, a merging of her essence with the weapon and Robrick's life force.

If I can't remove this curse by killing you I will just rip your ability from your body! Experience more content on empire
