Emperor's Domination

The mortal Li Qiye had no dao power, only brute strength. 

“You?” She couldn’t confirm who she was about to face - the one looming above or this mortal. After all, she could reduce a mortal to blood with just one finger.n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

“Yes, me.” He waved: “Let’s get started.”

She found this absurd - an insect challenging her. Nevertheless, she took a deep breath and her eyes became resplendent.

They looked endless and full of stars with untold potential for destruction.

“I’m starting.” She didn’t wish to kill him so she warned first.

Li Qiye only smiled and stood casually.

“My Dao Splits The Heaven!” She roared and summoned her fate palaces and a sacred anima. Internally, this anima was able to produce longevity. 

“Rumble!” Her supreme grand dao appeared. Its light alone could sever anything.

This dao became massive and split the sky into two halves before the direct slash. As she swung it down, the path became primal chaos and stars were born.

The slash wielded both life and death, rendering any emperor helpless.

“Heart Suppression.” Li Qiye gazed at the slash and used his willpower alone.

This dao heart power was invisible and indiscernible - impossible for anyone to comprehend and learn. It came from his thoughts, not requiring dao mysteries and techniques.

He didn’t lift a finger - just the focus of his thoughts alone crushed her dao slash. The world cutter dao was as feeble as spiderwebs.

“Bam!” She was forced to the ground, unable to move an inch.

Her astonishment couldn’t be overstated. How could she lose to a mortal in the blink of an eye? All her dao power, vitality, and chaos true energy couldn’t contend against him.

“Aah! Nine-wheel Slash!” She bellowed with all of her might.

Nine supreme grand dao formed a circle. Dao laws manifested into reality, preparing to cut everything nearby.

“Bam!” This technique was still crushed into nothingness by an invisible suppression.

It couldn’t be called a type of power because she could see he didn’t channel anything outside his dao heart. Her soul was meeting a soul greater than the high heaven.

Fear returned and she shuddered, akin to a weak beast meeting a behemoth.

“Feel yourself, your dao heart.” His voice sounded in her ears.

“Badump, badump, badump…” Lucidity occurred and unnecessary thoughts were wiped from her mind. She could hear beatings from her mind, not her heart.

“The dao heart!” She blurted.

Within her mind were many domains, many remained unexcavated. Something chased the clouds away and she could see the sky clearly in one of these domains.

She saw her dao heart but it was far from being as strong as she imagined.

What was the dao heart? She saw everything starting from the beginning and what her dao heart had shouldered.

When she first trained, she planted a seed of the dao heart in her mind. As time passed, thoughts made the seed stronger.

When faced with the first challenge, her mind wavered like a flickering candle. She gritted her teeth then and rose to the occasion. A strand of willpower strengthened and joined her dao heart then.

When she met a powerful foe and was on the verge of death, her dao heart lit up and let her unleash her full potential. One final, reckless move took down this foe. Although she was ridden with injuries, she didn’t fear death then and successfully strengthened the dao heart.

Similar experiences replayed in her mind. She witnessed her dao heart in the form of a seed growing.

However, whenever she faltered, its light dimmed down proportionally - the same for its power. This was the time to persevere, garnering enough courage to not run away.

Staying courageous and facing obstacles head-on were the only ways to fix this issue. After all, the dao heart was created by willpower.

“This is the dao heart.” She understood the process, albeit the current state of her dao heart was far from ideal.

“Try using it.” Li Qiye’s voice echoed again.

She listened and recalled her dao power, focusing everything on the dao heart instead.
