Loong Chen eagerly gathered all the light balls around the giant lizard’s corpse, his excitement palpable.

He discovered that this mutated goanna was, in fact, a Level 4 High Rank mutated beast. Its defeat granted him several thousand attribute points and fifty thousand empirical value.

Furthermore, Loong Chen had acquired a Level 4 High Rank energy essence, a boon that could significantly augment his strength if consumed.

Loong Chen said.

Upon hearing Loong Chen’s words, Bai Xiaohan’s sympathetic expression faded away.

“Senior Loong Chen, what are your plans now?” Bai Xiaohan asked abruptly.

“I need to return to Jinling City first.”

There were matters he had to attend to in Jinling City, like seeking revenge.

The previous owner of his body met his demise in Death City due to being framed. He witnessed his girlfriend secretly seeing the wealthy man’s son and in a fit of rage, slapped her.

Consequently, the wealthy man’s son retaliated by sending people to beat up Loong Chen. Unfortunately, they might have gone too far, and he ended up dead. His lifeless body was abandoned in Death City.

Taking revenge for the original Loong Chen was now a paramount priority.

In addition to seeking revenge, there was another crucial task for Loong Chen to fulfill. The original Loong Chen had a sister in Jinling City, the sole family he had.

Since he had now taken over this body, it was his responsibility to care for his sister.

“Senior Loong Chen, are you also planning to go to Jinling City? That’s great; we can go together!”

Upon hearing that Loong Chen intended to visit Jinling City, Bai Xiaohan exclaimed with excitement.
