Chapter 1433  Falling First Thing After Entering the Secret Realm

Rushing inside the secret realm the moment he got close enough, Chu Yang didn't even have time to stabilize himself when he got to the other side of the secret realm, as he found himself stepping directly off the platform that the other side of the entrance to the secret realm was located on. Falling directly towards the ground a few thousand meters below.

No worries, I can just use my domain and fly- Wait!? Why can't fly?!

Just as he was about to use his domain to try and fly to avoid smashing headfirst into the ground below, he suddenly realized that although he could still use his domain without any issues, there seemed to be some kind of restriction in place preventing him from flying-

In the end, he could do nothing, as he soon found himself crashing into the ground below. Creating a small human shaped crater in the process.

Of course, given that his strength had reached the Domain Lord Realm, and he could still protect himself and his body with his domain, he didn't sustain that much damage from falling over a thousand meters, but it was still quite embarrassing considering his identity as a Domain Lord Realm cultivator.

At the very least, he was lucky that there wasn't anyone around to see what had just happened, as they should have already moved deeper into the secret realm in search of opportunities at this point in time.

After all, those planning to team up inside of the secret realm wouldn't be waiting around at the entrance and would have just entered on their own. No reason to waste time standing around in the same place inside a secret realm that was still mostly unknown to them.

One such change that he hadn't heard about even after trying his best to research the secret realm beforehand was the fact that you couldn't fly inside of it, something he ended up finding out the hard way.

Although, it was understandable that this kind of information wasn't found out about beforehand, as the strongest person who had entered the secret realm so far was only someone in the Nascent Soul Realm… And even if they might have learnt something about flying artifacts not working, it wasn't something he had heard about before.

No matter… I managed to enter the secret realm, that is all that matters…

Shaking his head as he thought about this, Chu Yang decided to not think about the flying limitations that seemed to be in place inside of the secret realm and instead got up from the small crater he had created in the ground before looking around himself to assess his current situation.

Even though the dangers around the entrance of the secret realm had been mentioned to only include a few Qi Condensation Realm demon beasts, one could never be too certain considering something might have changed in the last ten years since the secret realm had opened… And indeed, a few dozen meters away, Chu Yang spotted a small group of demon beasts in the Foundation Establishment Realm, one of them even close to reaching the Core Formation Realm.

Though far from being threatening to someone like himself, it clearly indicated that the strength of the demon beasts inside of the secret realm seemed to have undergone a major change over the past ten years.

That, or the people who had spread information of the secret realm in the past had deliberately lied about the danger inside of the secret realm.

Though this might be unlucky considering no small number of wandering cultivators had managed to enter the secret realm since it had first opened up, it wasn't entirely out of the question considering the secret realm was jointly controlled by the different major factions of the neutral territory.

If they combined their power and controlled the information, it should be possible, but… Then again, they didn't really have much of a reason to do something like that, as the secret realm being a bit more dangerous wouldn't be detrimental to them in the slightest bit…

Feeling like he was getting nowhere as his thoughts started to wander again, Chu Yang decided to not waste any more time staying close to the entrance of the secret realm, both because he wanted to start trying to hunt down some of the more powerful demon beasts said to inhabit some of the deeper regions of the secret realm, while at the same time wanting to avoid any potential experts that the different major factions might send into the secret realm to chase after him.

Then again, the main reason he had waited so long to enter the secret realm outside of to avoid rushing in while a powerful cultivator was standing around, was the fact that most of the powerful cultivators in the Domain Lord Realm had already made their way inside the secret realm… And those guarding the secret realm wouldn't recklessly rush inside, as one couldn't leave the secret realm for the next half year.

Half a year… I should be able to grow strong enough to confront someone at the Peak of the Domain Lord Realm at that point in time. Maybe even those in the Soul Ascension Realm won't be that far off!

Thinking this to himself as he felt both of his eyes starting to shine at the prospect of how much stronger he could get if he managed to make full use of this opportunity that had been presented to him, Chu Yang began looking forward to having to fight it out with the different demon beasts residing in the deeper parts of the secret realm.

After all, even though the Nascent Soul Realm cultivators who had entered the secret realm in the past had not been able to enter those deeper regions, they had been able to use different specialized artifacts to get a general idea about the strength of the demon beasts lurking in the deeper parts of the secret realm. Allowing them to understand that outside of Domain Lord Realm demon beasts, there were also several powerful demon beasts at the Soul Ascension Realm in the depths of the secret realm. Possibly even demon beasts that are beyond that!

Filled with both excitement and a hint of caution when recalling this, Chu Yang moved deeper into the secret realm. Keeping the demon beast passing by him in mind, as he noticed their average strength slowly moving from the Foundation Establishment Realm, Core Formation Realm, Nascent Soul Realm, before finally reaching the Domain Lord Realm.

However, even when Domain Lord Realm demon beasts started to appear among the demon beasts, Chu Yang still continued moving deeper into the secret realm.

With his current strength, normal Domain Lord Realm demon beasts didn't interest him in the slightest. Only when their strength reached the Fourth Stage of the Domain Lord Realm did Chu Yang begin to start fighting with the demon beast to test out their strength and his own.

Unfortunately, he quickly realized that even demon beasts at the Fourth Stage of the Domain Lord Realm proved to be close to no challenge to him with his current strength. Especially considering that when he used the new spear, he had gotten his hands on, their thick skin and tough scales were easily pierced through without him using too much of his strength.

Since when did demon beasts become so weak? Or… Did my strength perhaps increase so much compared to the last time I fought a powerful demon beast in the ruins of Deep Pit City…? No… It should be because of this spear! Back then, I didn't use the spear when hunting down demon beast because I wanted to try and improve my physical strength by fighting those demon beasts in hand-to-hand combat…

Thinking about the crux of the problem, Chu Yang quickly realized the reason for his seemingly massive increase in strength. The spear he had picked up back then was far more powerful than he had expected.

Although, even with this in mind, Chu Yang didn't let it get to his head.

Instead, he stopped hunting the Fourth Stage, Fifth Stage or Sixth Stage Domain Lord Realm demon beasts and instead began moving even deeper into the secret realm. Intending to try and find a genuine Peak Stage Domain Lord Realm demon beast at the Ninth Stage of the Domain Lord Realm to test out how his current strength compared to such a powerful demon beast that could only be considered a single step away from reaching the Soul Ascension Realm.

After all, his current strength was already at the Peak of the Seventh Stage of the Domain Lord Realm and only such a powerful demon beast would prove of any use in increasing his combat experience, as any weaker might not even allow him to increase his combat experience when taking into account the apparent strength of his new spear.
