Chapter 484: Meeting With The Giaran’s Higher-ups

Five large spaceships descended onto the planet. Of course, the Giarans were at first alarmed, but when the spaceship didn’t trigger the alarm which happens when an object not of their creation enters, they relaxed themselves as their hearts began beating in anticipation.

And it seems they weren’t wrong, as they saw the fourth Elder of the clan waving to them from the deck of the spaceship.

“Wait, isn’t that the fourth Elder D’arvey…”

“They’re back, they’re back!!!” Those screams of joy could be heard throughout the entire Giaran’s planet as everyone rushed out of their homes, a gigantic crowd gathering where the five spaceships slowly descended.

Immediately, all the Giarans began exiting the spaceships, and what occurred was just like when Zeras released all those humans back to Earth. It was truly a beautiful moment.

“You all can spend some time reuniting with your families for now. I’m sure the higher-ups will make a big announcement once it is time to reward you all, so enjoy this moment,” D’arvey said through the communicator, ringing in the ears of the Giaran’s soldiers who all gave a nod and walked off with their families or immediately ran to their homes to see their families that they hadn’t seen for years.

“Let’s go meet with the higher-ups, Zeras…” D’arvey said as they all immediately took to the sky and disappeared up into the clouds, becoming a beam of green and reddish light.

The palace of the Giarans.

It was a gigantic structure whose top reached even up to the clouds of the Giaran’s planet, painted in some strange glossy material, with runic lines flaring with a powerful green inscribed on every surface.

Arriving before its steps, they all descended downwards as Zeras noticed the aura of the three Giarans instantly changed to utmost seriousness and focus. They began walking on those white steps, one step at a time, making their way forward to the top of the palace.

Arriving at the last steps, the palace’s ginormous green-colored door was in full view. Stretching out their hands, D’arvey, Sylvia, and Roaryie placed their palms on the door and immediately it gave away, revealing the inside of the structure.

A very large hall just like its outside. The floors and walls were made of the same glossy white material, while the green inscriptions formed the shape of a lotus at the center of the hall.

Around the hall, Zeras could see a total of 12 seats, with just three empty ones, while there was a dais at the top of the hall, where currently three people sat.

“We pay our respect to the Supreme Elders…” The three Giarans around him greeted all on their knees with their heads downwards, leaving just a single person or probably two standing in the hall, Zeras who didn’t move an inch, and Fluffy, who gave the room one glance before turning to keep licking its paws.

“D’arvey, Sylvia, and Roaryie. You three have all done a job worthy of respect. A noble mission for the progress of the clan. You can all rise and take over your rightful positions…” One of those Giarans at the top of the dais said as the three of them gave a nod before standing up and moving to their respective seats.

“I’m guessing you’re the one they said Child of Life. But I very well expected it to be a female, no?” One of the three Giarans, a female with extremely long green hair that dragged down beneath her feet mixed in with her completely green flowing dress.

Her eyes were strangely only two unlike the Giarans’, but Zeras could still see the remaining four slits on her face. She possessed six eyes, but she was currently using only two of them, just like a regular human. In such a state, she seemed more human than what Zeras had been seeing for the past 3 years.

Her eyes held no emotion at all, making it incredibly difficult to understand how she viewed him, but Zeras himself didn’t even care for that. No matter how people looked at him, it didn’t really affect him much in the end. Against the question, he uttered no words at all, and that wasn’t a sign of arrogance. It is just that the question just wasn’t best answered by him.

“That is true, Supreme Elder. The Child of Life that we know of was meant to be a human girl called Gaia Shiron, who possessed a 70% bloodline and also with a bloodline that originates from the same source as ours.

But due to a mix of events, we abandoned her and chose to go for him. If you might be willing to hear of my reason, then I will explain the reason for my atrocities…” D’arvey said, standing up from his seat and giving her a bow.

“Hmmm, then explain to me, D’arvey…” This time, it was a masculine voice that echoed out instead. And the source was from none other than a lanky man sitting at the top of the dais also. Dressed in a loose flowing shirt and trousers, his hair was a strange white, just like Zeras but very different from the Giarans who all possessed green hair.

It made him a stark contrast, although his eyes and skin were green in color and he looked no different to the Giarans.

“Thank you, my lord. When we arrived…”

And for the next, what followed was the narration of the occurrence that went on through the journey of the Giarans with Earth.

Everything, some that even Zeras himself was oblivious to, and D’arvey even made mention of what happened on their way back. The scene with the Tyromo race and the pirates. He explained everything completely, not even leaving a single thing out.

“What an interesting tale. So this is a deal between him and you. And also, he is one that holds an 80% bloodline purity…” The man said as he stood up from his seat and turned to look at Zeras.

“I want to see the truth for myself…”
