Apocalypse: A Godly Sanctuary I Have

Chapter 20

C20 – Misunderstanding

In the room, Zhou Heng threw Huo Yun onto the bed and said, “You can sleep here today.”

As Zhou Heng spoke, he reached out his hand to Huo Yun’s back.

This was the first time Huo Yun had come into contact with Zhou Heng. She said nervously, “What are you doing?”

“I’m telling you, don’t do anything rash.”

Huo Yun nervously closed her eyes.

However, after twenty seconds, Huo Yun did not feel any physical contact between Zhou Heng and her.

Huo Yun slowly opened her eyes and saw Zhou Heng lying on the ground with his blanket.

“Don’t worry, I’m not interested in you.”

Zhou Heng raised his eyebrows and said indifferently.

“What?”

Huo Yun was very angry when she heard this.

”Alright, go to sleep.”

Zhou Heng ignored Huo Yun and closed his eyes.

“Bastard!”

Huo Yun clenched her fists. She really wanted to get off the bed and beat Zhou Heng up.

However, Huo Yun only dared to think about it. She did not dare to make a move.

Huo Yun was still sulking, but the sound of Zhou Heng’s deep sleep could be heard from his side.

“Damn man!”

Hearing that, Huo Yun’s face turned ashen.

She felt that she had been humiliated!

Zhou Heng and Huo Yun slept soundly.

The snow outside had gradually thinned.

However, the snow had already blocked many of the God’s Sanctuary’s doors.

In order to survive, everyone had to risk their lives to leave the God’s Sanctuary. They had to find another safe place.

For these people who were fleeing for their lives, surviving was their biggest goal!

However, the weather outside was too cold.

Many people with weak constitutions were frozen to death after taking only two steps.

The remaining people had no time to pity them and only cared about escaping for their lives.

Due to the excessive amount of snow on the lone mountain beside Ashveil, a snow avalanche occurred.

It caused a snow avalanche.

The snow on the mountain was getting bigger and bigger, causing the escaping people to suffer a lot of injuries.

……

“Run! It’s a snow avalanche!”

“Run!”

“Am I going to die?”

Everyone was running for their lives like crazy.

However, how could their running speed compare to the speed of the snowball?

Soon, a lot of people died.

The city was in a mess!

Early the next morning.

Zhou Heng woke up from his sleep and saw the tragic scene outside through the monitor.

Although Zhou Heng knew that many people would die during the Catastrophic Day, when he saw so many people die in front of him, he couldn’t help but feel sad.

“You’re up so early.”

The voice from the monitor woke Huo Yun up from her sleep.

Huo Yun rubbed her sleepy eyes, but when she saw the contents of the monitor, she immediately lost all her sleepiness.

“Why did the outside become like this?”

Huo Yun crawled to Zhou Heng’s side and widened her eyes.

“This is the end of the world.”

Zhou Heng sighed and shook his head.

“Alright, get up quickly.”

Zhou Heng stood up and said, “Check if there are any places that are leaking.”

“Alright.”

Huo Yun didn’t dare to be careless. After she put on her clothes, she walked out of the bedroom.

“You guys are up.”

Outside, Fann Qinghua was overjoyed when she saw Zhou Heng and Huo Yun walking out one after another.

She was sure that she would have a grandson soon.

Zhou Heng nodded. After a simple breakfast, he and Huo Yun checked the various facilities of the shelter together.

At this moment, the sound of an ear-piercing police car came from outside.

“What’s going on outside?”

Hearing this voice, Zhou Guoqiang and Fann Qinghua hurriedly came to the monitor.

A horn on an armored vehicle outside was playing a recording.

“Because of the avalanche, the city is severely damaged. The government has decided to relocate the shelter. Everyone, please be prepared to leave at any time.”

“Son, what should we do? Should we follow them?”

Zhou Guoqiang asked.

If this was in the past, Zhou Guoqiang would definitely be the first to respond to the government call.

But now, Zhou Guoqiang’s first reaction was to consult with Zhou Heng.

Now, Zhou Heng was the true backbone of the family!

“No.”

Zhou Heng shook his head.

Not to mention the cold weather outside.

His parents were already so old, and they couldn’t bear the cold.

Zhou Heng was not optimistic about the large-scale migration this time.

Huo Yun was also anxious, “Now that they are migrating, a lot of people will die!”

The snow stopped, but it did not mean that the temperature would rise.

Instead, the temperature would drop again!

“No! I have to go out and stop them!”

The more Huo Yun thought about it, the more anxious she became. She could not just watch everyone die.

“You go.”

Zhou Heng turned his body and looked at Huo Yun with interest. He said lightly, “Do you think they will believe what you say?”

Zhou Heng continued, “You can go out, but after you go out, don’t think about coming back!”

Fann Qinghua also tugged on Huo Yun’s sleeves and sighed, “Yun, you don’t have to do this.”

“If you help them, they might not be grateful to you. They might even bully you.”

Fann Qinghua had experienced so much. She had long seen through the human heart.

Huo Yun could not help but sigh. The scene of her being harassed by a few hooligans suddenly appeared in her mind.

At that time, if it wasn’t for Zhou Heng saving her, she would definitely be in trouble.

Thinking about this, Huo Yun looked apologetically at Zhou Heng.

“Sorry, I won’t say such words again.”
