Chapter 906: Crashout [Pt 2]

~BO000000000MMMM!!!~

The shaky ground beneath them shattered into a million and one pieces, and Rey surged forward in an instant, his fist colliding with S'ith's raised arm.

The impact sent a shockwave rippling through the Chamber, obliterating walls and reducing ancient carvings to rubble. S'ith was thrown back, his body crashing into the far wall with a thunderous boom.

Everything was reduced to ashes in an instant.

"Gah-"

"Be quiet." Rey cut him off, closing the distance between them before S'ith could recover. His hand shot out, grabbing S'ith's throat and slamming him into the ground. The earth caved beneath the force, creating a crater that swallowed S'ith.

S'ith struggled beneath Rey's grip, his eyes wide with a mixture of rage and fear.

'H-he's faster than me...? Stronger too!'

He tried to break the boy's grasp on his throat, but all that did was tighten it further.

Within a fraction of a moment, the two of them had left the Chamber of Ancients and Rey was now dragging him to the Capital Square.

"Do you realize what you're doing, boy? This is the capital! If you destroy everything—"

"Good," Rey hissed, tightening his grip. "Let it all burn."

"You're asking for a death sentence!"

The Chamber of Ancients masked the intense energy that Rey had exuded, but now that they were out in the open...

'... It's only a matter of time before reinforcements arri-'The Great Old Dragon Lord paused his relieved thoughts as he stared at Rey's empty eyes.

'Unless... that is what he wants. Don't tell me-?!'

~BOOOOOOOOOMMMM!!!~

Everything around them collapsed in a violent blaze of energy, searing the ground and incinerating everything it touched in an instant.

Within a single moment, the Square was no more.

"REY SKYLAR-!!!"n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

S'ith roared, his draconic strength finally breaking Rey's hold. He leapt back, his form shimmering as scales began to cover his body.

"You leave me no choice, whelp! You'll regret-"

Rey didn't let him finish.

"[Perfect Divine Ray]."

A blast of pure energy erupted from his hand, slamming into S'ith and sending him hurtling through the remnants of the Chamber.

S'ith crashed into the streets of the capital beyond, carving a deep trench in the stone.

Rey followed without hesitation, stepping through the rubble and into the chaos he had unleashed.

The once-bustling city was now a battlefield, its inhabitants fleeing in terror as his power ran rampant. Buildings crumbled, and the ground fissured under the weight of his wrath.

"U-ughh..."

S'ith rose from the debris, his form now fully transformed. His towering draconic body cast a massive shadow over the ruins, his silvery-golden scales shimmering in the light of the flames Rey had created.

"I admit you're stronger than me, boy!" S'ith bellowed, his voice reverberating like thunder. "But do you truly believe you can defeat me alongside the rest of my comrades?"

"I don't believe," Rey said, his voice cold and steady. "I know."

~WHOOOOSH!!!~

With a deafening roar, S'ith lunged at him, his massive claws slicing through the air. Rey met him head-on, his body a blur of motion as he evaded S'ith's strikes and countered with devastating blows of his own.

Each clash sent shockwaves rippling through the city, the sheer force of their battle leveling entire blocks.

Civilians screamed in the distance, their voices drowned out by the chaos that consumed all of them and ripped them to shreds.

Mere shockwaves were enough to kill dozens if not hundreds in a second.

It was a massacre!

"Do you see?" Rey muttered, catching S'ith's clawed hand and twisting it with enough force

to shatter the bones beneath his scales. "I don't need anything. I just need to kill you."

S'ith howled in pain, his massive form stumbling back. For the first time, true fear flickered in his eyes.

"You... You're not human," S'ith said, his voice trembling. "What are you?"

"I'm the one who's going to end you," Rey said simply, advancing with deliberate steps.

S'ith's confidence shattered completely. He turned, his massive wings unfurling as he prepared to flee.

'I-I can't win! I can't reach out to any of the other Lords! It's like I'm completely isolated! They might even know anything that's happening here!'

His thoughts went to the Dragon Emperor... as well as the one who tipped him off about Rey's presence in the capital.

None of them were around to help him now.

'I have to run!'

Those thoughts instantly echoed in his mind.

'If I can't win, and I'm not sure they'll come for me...' He can't his gaze in the direction of the fighting theater 'I'll just just have to go to them!'

"Oh no, you don't," Rey muttered, surging forward with a burst of speed that defied logic.

He appeared in front of S'ith, cutting off his escape.

"Where do you think you're going?"

S'ith froze, his massive body trembling as he realized there was no escape.

'If that's the case... then I'll just take you down with me!' His thoughts burst forth in determination as he glared at Rey with resolve.

He still had one more Perfect Divine Skill-one that was his trump card and also self-

sacrificial.

"[Perfect Divine Void]!"

In an instant, the entire area around both Rey and S'ith was swallowed in darkness-a pitch black void akin to a black hole.

"You and I will vanish forever as this void erases us! I won't let an existence like yourself be a threat to the Empire that is-!"

Before the Great Old Dragon Lord could utter another word, he was silenced by the impossible sight that manifested before him.

The void... was cracking.

"I-impossible..."

With a single step, Rey closed the distance between them again. The void itself continued to

shatter under the force of his mere presence.

A second more... and it collapsed entirely.

"Resistance is futile, and any further action is pointless..." Rey whispered as he looked down

on the paralyzed Dragon Lord. "All that's left is for you to die and suffer while doing so."

He grabbed the Dragon Lord by the throat and looked him dead in the eye.

There was no emotion, hatred, or any other feeling that could be clouding his judgment at

that instance.

Only one thing shone within those cruel abyssal eyes.

-Purpose.

"Die."
