Chapter 1655 No One's Coming
Chapter 1655 No One's Coming
On another side of the Inner Court. Sirevius looked around in fear, he's old enough to know that this is a plan to kill some. With his guard nowhere around, he didn't think twice, and just as he was about to use the device given to him by his father for protection, he was unable to move. A figure appeared in front of him with his hand on his head. "Now be a good Dragon and come with me." Sirevius's spatial storage which was inside his body was forcefully sealed so there was no way he could take out any life saving items. He wanted to speak but he found it impossible, he tried to circulate his essence but he couldn't. With fear in his eyes, he screamed, but only he could hear his voice. 'No!!' Please no!! I'll do anything!' Nôv(el)B\\jnn
Unfortunately, no one could hear his plea. ….
At the edge of the Inner Court. Grey paused as he looked at Sirevius. 'We can't take him out.' Void stopped Grey. "Why's that?" Grey looked at Void. They were shuttling through the void when they were suddenly forcefully ejected. 'It seems there's a process if someone like him wants to leave the Inner Court. These guys are powerful. Either we kill him here, or we find out why he can't leave this place.' Void said. Grey looked at Sirevius, and with a wave of his hand, Sirevius was able to speak. "You… what do you want from me?" Sirevius asked, scared. Grey didn't expect that a day would come when he would see a Dragon, a Magical Beast who regarded itself as high and mighty to be in such a state. "Why can't we take you out of this place?" Grey asked with a cold voice. "Who do you want to do to me?" Sirevius asked. "Answer the question or you die here and we leave, your choice." Grey's eyes were emotionless, Sirevius could tell that he would kill him and not even bat an eye. "And if you take me out?" Sirevius asked. "You die either way, just that it'll give your people more chances to be able to save you. The probability is low, but I believe you'd prefer to hold onto that hope than to die right here and now." Grey's reply left Sirevius speechless. Naturally, he expected him to sugarcoat it, but to his surprise, Grey told him the truth, which he genuinely didn't want to hear. At the moment, if he didn't speak, he'd die, and then when he speaks, he might probably die, but there's a slim chance that he'll be saved. From Grey's words, he could tell that Grey was confident in his abilities and is certain that he can escape from the hands of his father. 'If he's not afraid of father, it means he wants something else and would probably keep him alive longer. The longer I survive, the higher the chances that I can be saved.'
Sirevius's thought was simple, but it is correct. At the moment, as long as his guard isn't dead, it means they'll search for him. His father has a way to be able to track him in a short period, so all he has to do is stall for as long as possible. "The thing is…"
"If you try to stall here, I'll kill you." Grey interrupted him when he noticed he was talking slowly. "I can't leave this place under anyone's command, it must be willingly." Sirevius explained, "It was done by the top experts thousands of years ago, this way, no one could come in here and drag anyone from the Inner Court out without them agreeing to it."
"Damn, that's some serious shit." Grey was shocked by what some powerhouses were capable of. The fact that they could actually create such a powerful thing in such a large region is shocking to say the least. "So the only way you can leave here is willingly?" He raised a brow. Sirevius nodded, of course he didn't have any plans of arguing with Grey and was willing to leave with them. As long as he could delay long enough, he'll be saved. "Nice." With that statement, Grey tapped Sirevius's head and he blacked out. ….
In a cave far away from the Inner Court. Sirevius regained consciousness and looked around, the scenery was different, and from the level of the essence around, he could tell that he's no longer in the Inner Court. "Impossible!" He exclaimed in shock. It was impossible for a Magical Beast to be taken out of the Inner Court if they didn't leave willingly. Yes, he was willing to leave, but he has to be conscious for this to happen. The last thing he remembered was Grey tapping his head, and all of a sudden he blacked out, the next thing he was in a large cave outside the Inner Court. This was impossible, and it has never happened before in the history of the Inner Court. "You… how did you do it?" He looked at Grey, this time, fear evident. Previously, he felt there was hope he could be found before he's killed, but Grey achieving something that even the strongest powerhouse in the human world couldn't do shows that he's not that simple. 'How did I offend someone like this?' This was one of the thoughts that flashed through the head of Sirevius. "You guys aren't the only ones who know a trick or two. Also, I didn't break your thingy, you just surprisingly followed me willingly, leaving that place on your own. You even said you didn't want to go back." Grey said playfully, he turned his attention to Eisendrache. The three Birds were present here, and so was the bunny leader. "Eisendrache, this is the last people involved in killing your mother, as promised, you get to deal the final blow. At the moment, they are all powerless, well, with the exception of their particularly strong bodies." Grey smiled and looked disinterested. He just wants to get this over with and head back to the Dawson manor. He hasn't seen his mother, and there's also Cori. The little girl who should've been with his mother's parents for training. He doesn't know if she has stopped her training and is back with his parents again or if she is still there. Eisendrache looked at Sirevius and the three Birds, "Why did you kill my mother?" "Melmera was your mother?" Sirevius asked softly, although his heart was still racing from Grey's words, he didn't have the chance to think about that now. In fact, at the moment, he is beyond exhilarated. It's one thing having to stall with Grey who was a freakish entity, but with a child who's still thinking of why they killed his mother, it will be simple. "Answer me!" Eisendrache yelled. "Calm down kid, she was supposed to be mine, and so were you. Nothing has changed, you can still be mine. I'll take you home, you'll be treated like the royalty which you are." Sirevius said, "I know the pain of losing your mother is still fresh in your mind, that's why you have to come with us, your kin. We are your true family, the only ones who can understand you."
"The humans will only want to take advantage of your superior bloodline and try to use you for his own advancement, but in the Inner Court, you'll be well taken care of." Sirevius didn't stop as he tried to trick Eisendrache, when he saw Eisendrache not speaking, he felt positive and continued. Grey didn't say anything as he watched them, this was what Eisendrache wanted, now he wants to see how he would react to these words. To be honest, Sirevius wasn't lying, if anyone else got Eisendrache, they would've tried to make them a companion or stead, but Grey already has Void and the bunny leader, his Teacher, Chris, has a Griffin, he wasn't too interested in having a mount. 'Hmm, now that I think about it, if he and Cori were to grow together, it'd be good for both.' They were both top geniuses for their ages, and just like Cori, Eisendrache was growing pretty fast. With Cori's status, it's perfectly okay for her to have a Dragon. The only problem is the bloodline of Eisendrache, given how he is, Grey feels that his bloodline will be better than the likes of Sirevius, so if the Dragon Tribes sees him, they'll definitely want him back. 'I'll ask dad for help.' Grey was lost in thoughts while Sirevius continued speaking to Eisendrache, he knew what Sirevius was trying to do and couldn't help but chuckle. "Take your time with him, you don't have to worry." He said with a light chuckle.
Grey turned to Sirevius, "Your father isn't coming to help, no one is."
Sirevius looked at Grey's eyes, and felt a chill in his spine. "What do you mean?" "I mean, no one is coming."
