The dean went back to his office, visibly tired. "Tamaki," he called out.

"I need you to help me keep an eye on a boy," the dean said with a slight smile.

"Hmm... anything, Dean. Do you know his name?" Tamaki asked.

"No, not yet... but when we evaluate those who qualify, I'll point him out to you," he replied.

"If he reaches the top three... what then? Would you take him as your disciple?" Tamaki asked, curious.

"Even if I accept him, I won't be able to watch over him forever," the dean said thoughtfully.

"Alright, Dean. Congratulations, by the way—you're the first immortal in a long time. Aren't you supposed to ascend?" Tamaki asked surprised.

"I can still stay a while longer," the dean replied.

"Understood," Tamaki answered before disappearing.

Muchen and Kai were perched on the top of a tree, preparing to sleep. "Goodnight, bro... you're on watch first, hehe," Muchen said, yawning.

Kai shook his head but nodded, accepting the first shift.

Silence settled as midnight approached. Eventually, Kai also fell asleep; the strain of the day had caught up with him.

Tiny branches snapped as a behemoth approached—a massive anaconda, 50 meters long and 8 meters thick.

Its eyes were fixed on Kai and Muchen. Flicking its tongue, it opened its mouth, approaching Kai. It swiftly swallowed Kai.

Kai groaned as Muchen woke up. "What the... Kai!" Muchen shouted, rushing toward the snake. The anaconda flicked its head, moving with astonishing speed, and Muchen was swallowed into the snake's belly.

They struggled, compressed within the snake's body, being pushed downwards toward a boiling green liquid—its stomach acid.

"Punch... punch!" Muchen shouted, repeatedly striking the snake's belly.

Boom... boom... boom...

Being high-level Body Building stage cultivators, their strength caused the snake immense pain as it writhed on the ground.

A few minutes later, they emerged, breathing heavily, staring at the dead snake's corpse.

"That was close," Muchen said with a grin.

They moved to another tree branch to sleep, this time on higher alert.

"Kira... we need Void's help urgently. The angels are intensifying their search. They might even create a tool specifically to locate us," Mark said with a sigh.

Demons also hate Angels for this and the fact that the way angels use the light element was different from.other races. This weaken their strength significantly .

Rank 3 demons joined the fray, expanding the portal even further. Rank 4 and even Rank 5 demons were alerted as the medium-grade battle scaled up. Their destination? The Hans universe.
