A Villainess Should Be Strong

Chapter 145: Liviera Skye

Chapter 145: Liviera Skye

"What did you say about losing me isn't a big deal again?" With a scorning tone, the person laughed. "If it wasn't for me.. would a similar case to the incident from that day repeat once more?"

In the midst of all that, Estelle let out a short, relieved breath as nothing severe happened and none of them were hit hard by the attack.

"..Urk," Frey displayed an uncomfortable expression as she averted her gaze. "This doesn't count.  I was careless," Rubbing the sides of her arms, she said.

The surprise attack triggered another change.

The mysterious person's features were exposed bit by bit as the black cloth that covered them vanished, dispersing into fragments.

"Still so careless.. as ever. Frey Agatha, how much do I have to remind you that you are going to suffer from this trait of yours badly one day?" The person's voice began to shift as well, returning back to their true voice and revealing their identity. "You never change," she added.

Striking violet colored strands of hair that stretched down to her waist and a matching pair of glaring blood red eyes. The woman's appearance was stunning, a beauty that one would find difficult to look straight at. One that would make you want to avert your gaze away due to shyness, and yet could not pull your eyes off from.

"Tch! What do you have to say about yourself? You damned vampire, you have never changed from the very first day we met!"

"What vampire? So unscientific. There are no vampires in this world," The violet haired person replied. "In addition, the day our first encounter occurred was when I was already a spectacular figure. I was calm and composed, unlike you. Frey Agatha, you were wild and unbridled, unbecoming of the Association's status,"

"Association's status, I don't need such a thing. It disgusts me," Frey replied. "I joined the Association without knowing the real truth behind its inner workings. How could I be willing to comply? Tell me, vampire,"

Estelle looked at the two with puzzled eyes, then focused her gaze onto the direction from which the attack came from. Clearly, they were being attacked right now, how come they could afford to ignore the dire situation and continue arguing?

Estelle met Aleksei's gaze and knew that both of them shared the same thoughts.

"You two, instead of bickering right now, don't we all have to clean up this place first?" With a menacing look, Aleksei approached the two women and towered over them due to his great height.

Frey and the mysterious person was not that tall, so in comparison to Aleksei, who was practically a giant, they looked small.

"This woman started it first!" Frey clenched her fists as she made a wronged expression and pointed at the violet haired lady.

"Teacher.. No... Frey. Agatha. If you don't quit acting like that, I will personally send you off to our enemies. I'll wrap you up in a cute present box with ribbons and deliver it to them with sparkles and confetti," Aleksei threatened with a kind smile.

"Ah, ah! I get it, I get it, get away from me!" Frey complained. "Tch, youngsters these days have no respect for their esteemed teachers.."

Frey regulated her breath as she calmed down. She then turned to look at the violet haired lady and raised her head up smugly.

"Oi, vampire, do you want to bet who gets to end the life of this sneaky bastard first?" Frey challenged.

The lady did not respond, but instead brushed off some dust that got on her clothing now that her black cloak was dispersed.

"Scared?" Frey instigated, giving a mocking smile to the woman.

After a few seconds, a sigh was heard from the violet lady.

"It would be my pleasure to win over you once again,"

"Don't be cocky, you are being too overconfident. Aleksei, Estelle, you two stay here. As a form of payback for our bickering, we will take this coward down," Frey glanced at the pair who was standing side by side and left no chance for them to reply before taking her attention off of the two.

"Change that 'we' to 'she' and it will finally hold some truth," The lady spoke. "This kind of small fry who can't even fight without using surprise attacks won't even withstand a single blow,"

"Whatever! We will see the end result. The chase starts in three seconds. 1.. 2..." Frey counted up.

"3!" She raised her voice, simultaneously jumping upwards into the sky and headed towards her enemy.

The violet haired lady also did the same. Although she started out a second later, she was much more agile than Frey. In the end, she caught up to the Witch and went deeper inside the forest.

Estelle and Aleksei, who were told to stay put looked at each other and let out a sigh.

"Since I have seen her appearance now, can I at least know who that was? The violet haired 'vampire'?"

Aleksei looked at her with complicated eyes before he rubbed his temples with a tired gaze.

"Haah.. I am not from my teacher's era, we have a large age gap. But I have heard the notoriety those two created. She and my teacher is the epitome of dumb and dumber. No one knows what truly occurred between them to the point where they have this large, unnecessary, and unending feud. Some say that it was because one betrayed the other, but there are many theories. Both of them are people who don't actively partake in socializing, so they have little acquaintances. Strangely, despite their fights, they don't avoid interacting with each other, but instead only have this tense rivalry and poisonous relationship. However.." Aleksei began to tell the story, yet stopped.

"However?" Estelle was curious, so she inquired further.

"These two are practically the perfect duo in terms of work," Aleksei let out a gentle sigh.

As if everything was timed, and Estelle was watching a play where Aleksei was the narrator, Frey and the violet haired lady was back with an immobilized person in tow. Proving their 'exceptional teamwork'.

Both of them held one limb of the person, carrying half of the weight each. They simultaneously dropped the body down to the ground and distanced themselves from each other right after.

"I think that was my victory," The violet haired lady said.

"What?! It was clearly mine! The last blow was from me, the one who took him out in the end was me! You just attacked him after he was already unconscious, that doesn't count!" Frey rebutted with frustration.

"But the fatal attack was from me, the immobilizing effect was also from me. Frey Agatha, you should know that the one who makes a greater contribution is considered the victor by our Association's rules,"

"Pei, what 'our' Association's rules? You are the only one who has to abide with that cursed institution, count me out of it,"

"...Frey Agatha, you are still an honorary member. In addition, whose fault do you think it was that I have to stick around with this endless parade of rules and

"..Then run away! Just throw those curses into the void and run! Get your freedom, vampire," Frey's tone changed. Her gaze softened as she looked at the violet lady.

"I'm not irresponsible like you. Frey Agatha, even after so many years, it pains me to know that you have not matured at all,"

"Frey Agatha, Frey Agatha, for how long are you going to keep calling me that again and again?! You.. Liviera Skye, I'm afraid that my name will be tarnished if you don't stop saying it,"

"It has been tarnished. Ever since you started doing stupid things and quit thinking logically, ever since your power ruined your mindset and turned you back into an uncouth child," 'Liviera' furrowed her brows after hearing her own name be spoken out loud when there was someone who was not informed of her identity.

However, she quickly calmed herself down after accepting that Estelle, the girl was not a simple person. Using her abilities and connections, she was able to find out roughly about who Estelle was. She was the newest addition to the Royal Elven family, a long lost princess and the current Queen's grandniece.

Liviera also quickly recognized the girl, because the Association had been keeping an eye and collecting news about this apparent monster silently. Although they hadn't put much attention on her, she was once discussed in several occasions due to the turbulence she had caused.

Although, once the news of her apparent death was passed everywhere, the Association did not track her down since she was not that much of a big deal.

Now that the genuine Estelle Clareste was right before her, and showed astounding power unlikely of her age and origins, Liviera had garnered some interest on the girl.

"You, right there. Come over," Liviera beckoned for Estelle to approach her, which the girl did without much thought.
