"That was… amazing." Alyssa panted from where she was resting beside me on the bed.

"Yeah." I answered but even though I was with her, my attention was on the screen that had appeared after our lovemaking.

I'd taken advantage of the momentum I'd built, driving Alyssa home and as one would expect, one thing led to another and here we are.

Unfortunately for her, I had no time for extra. Not now when my life is on the line. "This might be a weird question to ask right after sex but are you in debt?"

"What?" Alyssa turned to face me, confusion on her face.

"Do you have any debts?" I clarified.

"No?" She said, confusion on her face.

"You don't know?"

"Oh, I know. I'm not in debt. I'm just curious why you're asking me that."

"Don't worry about it." I smiled at her before glancing at the digital clock I had on the bedside table. It was one in the morning.

"Give me a minute." I slipped out of bed, still naked. I wanted to confirm her debt free status and take care of my debt before I would even be able to relax.

"Alright." She laid back down and I made my way downstairs. I found my laptop on the kitchen table and fired it up. The moment it was booted up, I opened a browser and searched for Alyssa's net worth.

She was the heiress to a media fortune and there were a lot of speculations on how much she was worth.

Some said she was worth seven hundred million and others said a hundred million. The only thing they could all agree on is that she wasn't worth a billion. Not yet.

I sighed, burying my face in my hands. I had no idea if she was speaking the truth and news sources were not being forthcoming.

I'd have to take a leap of faith.

I ran my hands through my hair and stood. I had to do this now but with the headache and vomiting, I had to take this to a different bathroom.

I sighed in relief, feeling the weight of the world lifting off my shoulders. I can stand tall now. Then a thought occurred to me. What about my outstanding debt?

An involuntary and giddy laugh escaped my mouth. I am a billionaire now. A fucking billionaire!

I studied the screen, seeing how my reward had been distributed. Three billion to my assets, coupled with Sunset Inn, Cooper Real Estate and Mila's cosmetic brand, I was worth three point five billion.

I couldn't wait to see what form the reward would come but as it was at a time when everybody else was asleep, I doubted the system would give me now. After all, it doled out rewards in believable ways. I'd have to wait till Lincoln's office hours.

I stood, making my way back to my room. Alyssa had positioned herself in a sexy manner, ready for another round.

I could see her frown in the corner of my eye but I ignored it, opening my phone to see an alert. The money was really in my account. There was also a notification of me clearing my debt at the bank.

Apparently, I'd sent the seventy million seven minutes ago from my bank account, the same time the system had cleared the debt.

I grinned, tossed my phone back on the bedside table and turned to Alyssa. "How would you like to attain nirvana?"

"I will." I grinned back at her before watching her walk back to her car, swaying her hips seductively.

It was morning and she was leaving. I watched as she got in her car and drove away. I closed my door, walking back into my house.

I put my phone back into my pocket, knowing I didn't have any intentions to call her.

I already had my salvation.
